Discover Lisbon’s most authentic and vibrant side!
Begin your adventure at the iconic Luís de Camões Square, the bohemian heart of Chiado. Board the historic Tram 24 (yes, the one from the postcards!) and ride through Lisbon’s hills to the Reservatório da Mãe d’Água das Amoreiras, an 18th-century gem that once housed a silk factory.
Stroll under the ancient trees of Jardim das Amoreiras, where history and nature intertwine, before exploring the Rato neighborhood. Walk along Escola Politécnica Street, a cultural corridor lined with landmarks like the National Printing Office, the University of Lisbon Botanical Garden* (a hidden oasis), and the historic Cister Confectionery—where the aroma of pastries baked since 1868 fills the air.
Continue to Príncipe Real (Royal Prince), Lisbon’s chic district. Cobblestone streets lead you past 19th-century palaces turned into designer boutiques, artisan workshops, and cafés where fado music blends with the scent of freshly roasted coffee. Admire Príncipe Real Square, an open-air salon surrounded by grand mansions, and conclude your tour at the Convento dos Cardaes, home to a dazzling 17th-century azulejo (ceramic tile) mosaic.
